ABOUT HINDU WORSHIP SOCIETY
Hindu Worship Society (EIN: 23-7113218) is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Houston, Texas, serving the community with devotion and spiritual guidance since 1967. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious and cultural organization, HWS Temple is dedicated to preserving Hindu traditions, promoting Sanatan Dharma, and bringing the community together through faith, service, and cultural values.
The temple is home to multiple divine shrines where devotees can offer prayers, perform rituals, and experience peace and spiritual connection. HWS Temple regularly hosts religious festivals, spiritual programs, and community gatherings that help families stay rooted in their traditions.
Every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the temple holds a grand weekly puja followed by a full Bhandara, welcoming a large gathering of devotees and families. For generations, HWS Temple has remained a sacred place where faith, culture, and community come together.
