Digital Skills & Technology Assistance

Technology has become an essential part of everyday life. From booking travel to communicating with family, paying bills, accessing healthcare, and using government services, digital skills are increasingly important.

HWS is committed to helping community members become more confident and comfortable using computers, smartphones, and online services. Our volunteers provide friendly guidance in a relaxed and supportive learning environment.

Training and assistance may include:

  • Basic computer skills

  • Smartphone and tablet usage

  • Internet browsing and online safety

  • Email setup and usage

  • WhatsApp and video calling

  • Social media platforms

  • Booking Uber, Lyft, flights, and hotels

  • Online shopping and payments

  • Using banking and utility applications

  • Government and healthcare portals

  • Downloading and using mobile applications

  • Managing files, photos, and documents

Whether you are completely new to technology or simply want to improve your confidence, our goal is to help remove the fear of technology through hands-on learning and patient guidance.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or technical experience.
