We have some exciting news!! HWS will be opening in limited capacity this coming Sunday!! Services will start at 1130am followed by aarti at 1pm.
Our HWS Management Committee has been hard at work getting ready to welcome everyone back! You will see some notable changes:
Hand wash and sanitizing stations will be available. Everyone must wash / sanitize their hands upon entry.
Masks are recommended to be worn at all times. Please bring your own mask.
Socially distant seating: Please sit in the available chairs. Chairs are not to be moved.
Socially distant aarti: Please stand by your chair during aarti. Aarti will be performed one person at a time, once done, please return to your chair.
Lunch prashad will not be served.
We understand that these changes will take time to get used to. We appreciate your support and cooperation as we navigate this new world!
Of course, none of this would be possible without our awesome supporters!!
We would like to thank Nick Jessett of MKT Distillery in Katy (https://www.facebook.com/MKTDistillery/) for his generous donation of hand sanitizer that he is producing himself! He has been a huge contributor to our Houston community and we are grateful for his support!
We would also like to thank Dr. Ajay and Shobha Aggarwal for their great and much needed donation of disinfectants!
And a big thank you to Sanjay Gakhar of Amber Sports and Home Goods (https://www.facebook.com/AmberHomeGoods/) for his generous donation!
The Aggarwal and Gakhar families are long time devotees and amazing supporters of HWS! We are lucky to have them as members of our temple!
As mentioned, we are excited to have everyone back soon! However, we do understand that some of you might not be ready to go out just yet and that's ok! We will continue to Go Live on Facebook too! (https://www.facebook.com/HWSTemple/)
We sincerely hope everyone is happy, healthy and safe! We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
